Welcome

I can't believe it is finally happening, making Yoga Sanga into a reality has tested the limits of my patience and sanity, but it is here! I am happy to share with all of you Austin Texas premier resource for everything Yoga, from classes, teachers and studios.

My own discovery of Yoga was some years ago when my mother took me to one of her yoga classes, now growing up my family was loud, combative and insane, sound familiar? So you can imagine the bliss that I first encountered in that small yoga studio. I fell in love with the graceful yet strong movements and the peace of mind that could be harnessed from silent reflection.

Though it was much later, when I began my own path as a Yoga teacher I always remembered that moment when I saw the power of this beautiful practice.

  1. I think this is great! My first encounter with yoga was way into my twenties. I was a track and field athlete at the time and thought yoga should be a piece of cake kind of excercise, but to my surprise it was not! how could those older folks be comfortable doing such complicated positions when I was all sore, even being a high performance athlete. Clearly a great discipline for the body. Thank you for bringing this opportunity to Austin.

  2. Thanks Alejandro for you message. You are right for a lot of people Yoga seems easy until you start working with parts of your body you don't know where there.
    Cheers!
